About LC Consulting

Larissa is a former elementary teacher who was ill prepared to teach reading, so she went on to get a M.Ed. in Reading & Writing, and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist. She has worked as a reading specialist, ed. diag., and instructional coach, and now works as an educational consultant. She wants all teachers to feel prepared to teach reading, so no one feels like she did when she was in the classroom. She believes literacy is a civil right & she wants to close the achievement gap for ALL.
